Swedish Food in New York

by Liza Laserow

Laserow Antiques were approached by Visit Sweden to style an event at the swedish restaurant Aquavit tomorrow evening. Its a tribute to food from the southern part of Sweden and Swedish Chef Daniel Berlin from restaurant Skåne Tranås and Aquavits amzing head chef Markus Jernmark have together created the menu. I met with Joseph Bayer, private dining manager at Aquavit, and decided to go for a rustic look  with a 19th Century drop-leaf table, terracotta urns and Baroque candlesticks in a distressed gilding. To add to the rustic fall style florist Stacy Crowe will decorate with apples and fall leaves…Pictures to come!
