Christmas in Sweden
by Liza Laserow
Black lacquered dining table from Design by Laserow with a crystal chandelier from the Empire period ca 1810 hanging above. On the table we placed the finest candelabras from France made during the late 18th in gilded and dark patinated bronze together with china in white and gold.
The christmas table (Julbord in Swedish). Also a table from Design By Laserow this in black lacquer with gilded details such as lion feet.
We served the food on 19th Century and 18th Century blue and white Chinese porcelain together with Swedish silver cutlery.
More from the Christmas table: Traditional Swedish christmas food.
4 kinds of cheese served on a 19th Century Company porcelain and the hostess home made peach jam.
We have been on a loooong brake but we are now back! During our stay in Sweden we got to decorate a beautiful christmas tables, one for the food and one for dining. Enjoy!
