From right: Signed by Niklas Sundström, mirror maker in Stockholm 1754-1781.  The mirror to the left is not signed but attributed to the greatest mirror maker in Sweden during the Gustavian Period (1751-1799): Johan Åkerblad. xOval mirror in a gilt / silvered frame. Made in Italy during early 18th Century.

XXX_12_EnglandBeautiful Danish mahogany mirror made during the second half of 18th Century. Gilded decor with laurel swags, flowers and ribbons.

Mirrors hung to be used for light reflections rather than being used as actual mirrors.
